What local storage contains
When you use the preference controls, the script writes the key discosproutwhimnor-cookie-preference with either accepted or essential as its value. Local storage differs from a cookie: the browser does not automatically attach this value to ordinary web requests, and the supplied script does not transmit it.
The value has no automatic expiry in the supplied code. It remains until you reset it, clear this site’s browser data or your browser removes it. What the other tools remember
The navigation menu, colour tabs and scroll effects use page memory only. The contact tool does not deliberately save draft fields in local storage. A copied message may remain in your device’s clipboard history, and a downloaded text file remains wherever your browser saves it until you remove it.
Clearing or changing a choice
